I asked God why the Glory Cloud always
disappeared. Why doesn’t it stay? He told me it could become
idolized. The Presence would have to recede because, in ignorance,
people might unintentionally worship the cloud itself and not He
whose Presence it housed.
I asked God to show me His Glory as He
did Moses in the fire, the smoke and the cloud. I closed my eyes, and
I saw flames leaping up, licking the air. And then the cloud above
the flames began to form, just as a forest fire creates its own
weather. The effect of the flames created a great thunderhead-like
cloud.
I asked God (to allow me, or) to call
me to step into the cloud of His Glory. I felt as if He chuckled and
said “Silly girl, that’s why I created it!” just as I walked
into the center of it.
As I stretched out my arms and began to
worship, I saw a seed in the center of the cloud. I thought it might
be God’s Presence. I asked the Holy Spirit to implant the seed
within me, as He had done to Mary. I didn’t quite know what this
looked like, but I sensed this was God’s will.
The seed became a part of me, and
within me it became a cloud like the one I stepped in to. It began to
grow. I did not sense the outer cloud dissipating. It remained.
I realized that the cloud within me
expanded to every part of me, and became my identity. I asked God
what this meant. He said that His Glory cloud was never meant to
dissipate; never meant to just appear, heal and disappear. It was
meant to take root in each of us and grow.
I believe what God was saying to me in
this vision is that He is calling us to be His Glory Cloud. The
presence of the Holy Spirit must not be a sometime thing. Healings
must not be occasional. They must be constant. Healings of bodies,
physical and governmental, will become more prevalent as we each
accept the seed of His Glory Cloud within us. More than just the Holy
Spirit, but His power, manifested in us and through us.
As we gather together and call the
Kingdom into a situation, others will be saved, healed, delivered,
and see the power of the Most High.
He shows us a taste of what we can be
when we see the Glory Cloud. Its appearance is temporary. We pray
fervently for it to reappear. But we must not pray for the cloud
itself. We must pray for the Presence of God, manifest in the cloud
(or whatever form He chooses!). But it is our choice as to whether or
not it comes and stays.
His Glory and His grace, manifested in
us as His Body, must grow. I see God just waiting, hand
outstretched, for our answer. Like a runner with feet in the stocks,
waiting for the starting pistol.
I say “yes, Father. No matter what.
Yes.”
