The Valley of Decision

God =Trust= Faith

 In Joel 3:14 it mentions the "Valley of Decision". I believe that we are now at that place. God is revealing things to us that are new… as He said in Isaiah 48, things we can not say "oh, yes. I knew that" to. He is revealing His truths to us.  The enemy KNOWS that we have been created with and endowed with gifts and abilities to change the world.  The enemy has DULLED our passion for change. He KNOWS this message we have been given, and he fears that we will band together against him and expose him and his demons down to their nothingness!

We already have the skills, power, knowledge, stamina and abilities to change the world. God is waking us up NOW. There is NO way the enemy wins. We MUST pick up and ignite the power of our passion!  If our purpose in life is to bring as many people as possible to salvation, then we are living only for the end. If we live in our (God given) passions, we are living for now, and a future with Christ here on earth. We are bringing His Kingdom "on earth, as it is in Heaven".  This is "Kingdom Living" and we are all called to it.

If our attitude is that WE were created for the sole purpose of bringing others to Jesus, what about the REST of our lives? Do we only matter when we are testifying or witnessing and bringing others to Jesus? Is the rest of our life unimportant? Certainly not. But if our focus is on that end, then we are quite possibly neglecting our purpose, life message, destiny, that which we were created to do.  If we live according to our destiny, following our passion, change our lives according to the drive God placed within us, we can change the world into God’s Kingdom on earth. We do not necessarily need to consciously seek out people to "convert", as the Holy Spirit will bring salvation to others through us. The opportunities will come to us as they were designed to.

If I were to ask you what your greatest responsibility as a Christian is, what would your answer be? Certainly #1 (if you pause to think about it first) would be to ‘worship and love God’. Most people I speak with, when asked to think beyond that, say that #2 would be to ‘bring others to Salvation through Jesus’. I would venture to disagree with this. I believe that our single, most important responsibility, beyond first worshipping and loving God, is to live His will for us. To live out His plan for us in our lives. Seek our passion, become excellent at it for Him, and he will bring salvation to the nations through us.  

If each of us makes that decision and begins that path, another chip falls away from the wall of numbness the enemy has built. He does not want us to understand this covenant! We all know about the enemy’s efforts in our lives. We must understand this; in the hierarchy that God created, angels exist primarily to serve US. The enemy is an angel. Angels are not able to be temples of the Holy Spirit. Therefore all Christians contain God within themselves, and the enemy is not able to do this. Remember, there was a battle in heaven. 1/3 of the angels lost. That leaves 2/3 of them, God, and us. And wherever God is, that is the majority! The enemy is only as significant as we allow.

As I have said many times before, ‘where Christ resides, the enemy CANNOT’. We are therefore greater than the enemy, for the Spirit of the Lord resides within us. And is ACTIVE AND POWERFUL through us! The enemy’s efforts to make us blind, deaf and ignorant to our life messages, callings, passions (he disguises these), purposes, whatever we choose to call it—these efforts aren’t just to amuse him. His efforts are not just to mess with us, for fun. He KNOWS what we are capable of, through Jesus, and he IS TERRIFIED!  Our greatest weapon against the enemy is rest. Rest in the knowledge of your authority over the enemy. Rest in Jesus.

OWN your authority, as given through the Holy Spirit, and USE it! Take responsibility for who, whose, and what you are! (A highly favored child of the Most High God!)  Acknowledge your calling and LIVE it!  The enemy has stifled would-be doctors, pastors, teachers, scientists, mothers and fathers (through abortion), engineers, and more because he knows and fears the changes they would have made. Our creation—who we are—is God’s will for us. Are we living it?  

We have all heard the messages, read the books, done the workshops and studies. Do you think the whole focus is joy in your life? Do you think that our goal is to feel ‘fulfilled’? Well, Rick Warren, in his book "The Purpose Driven Life" says "it’s not about you". I agree and disagree. It is about us, fulfilling God’s will for us. He created each of us according to His perfect plan. Every minute detail of YOU exists according to HIS will, even and especially your passion. He placed it there according to his will in your life.  Because and through Jesus Christ we ARE worthy of our calling.

It is His will that we live out our life message, our destiny, our passion. He placed that drive within us. NOT for our own fulfillment alone. Not for our own sense of importance. NOT for our own joy, but for His. However, if we live out His will in our lives, we begin to truly know joy and fulfillment. But to what end? That cannot be our goal. He loves this world. He created it for us to live in, out of His perfect love for us—every detail. IF we stop listening to the lies of the enemy that keep us from living our calling, this world will begin to change, and the enemy won’t be able to stop it.  

Do NOT give the enemy power. He is absolutely POWERLESS unless we give him power. He is unimportant. We must choose to bring God’s Kingdom here on earth by following our calling. If we don’t, the Gospel tells us what will happen. Revelation is a prophetic word, and we have a choice as to whether we receive it. WE CAN CHANGE THE PROPHECY OF END TIMES. FIND YOUR LIFE MESSAGE—YOUR PASSION. LIVE GOD’S WILL IN YOUR LIFE. CHANGE THE WORLD. And God’s promise to us is that if we do this, The Gospel will go out to the nations. Even if you think what you do is just a small thing, each grain of sand tossed into a pond starts a huge ripple that affects the whole pond. We are ALL incredibly important in God’s incredibly, infinitely intricate design. We must not live as if our goal is heaven at the end of our lives. The KINGDOM IS NOW.
