Famous Quotations:
abundant
Whoever possesses abundant joy must be a good man: but he is probably not the cleverest man, although he achieves exactly what it is that the cleverest man strives with all his cleverness to achieve.
Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche

Think about what your picture of "abundant life" is. Or what a "full life" is. What comes to mind? Having all your needs met? Having all the goodies you desire? Having lots of fun?

In my Christian walk, I have come to a point where the only thing I TRULY care about is love. My needs are met by my PaPa God. The desires of my heart are taken care of by Him as well.

Fullness of life to me is defined as being consumed completely by love for Father God, Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit. To be enraptured, consumed and overwhelmed by God's love for me is the only abundance I desire. Everything else is meaningless aside from this.

So when Jesus said "I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly", His love is where true life resides. THAT is where I believe the heart of this scripture lives.
